PRESIDENT ELECT BARACK OBAMA |
|
HISTORIC ELECTION NIGHT 11/4/2008 |
OBAMA WINS HISTORIC ELECTION 2008
Barack Obama will become the 44th President of the United States of America. The Victory was decisive
and swift as the electoral college numbers added up prior to most of Idaho's "returns parties" starting at 8:00 pm when our
polls closed. Republicans heard commentators and pundits from both parties discussing the overwhelming desire for change in
America. In a race where the economy become the number one issue, Barack Obama nailed virtually every category of voter and
there has been much talk of a mandate when you couple his win with the gains made in the House and Senate. Considering the
difference in the popular vote across our country you can make a case that it was a clear victory but not necessarily a mandate.
In the weeks ahead our country will make a peaceful transition and we will have a Democrat Congress, Senate, and White House.
In the months ahead there will be an arduous and critical self-examination of the GOP and how does it renew and restructure
for the elections just 2 years away. Hang on to your values and roll up your sleeves because there is much hard work ahead.
SENATOR JOHN MCCAIN GRACIOUS IN DEFEAT
Senator John McCain gave one of the best speeches of his life when he conceded to
Barack Obama and I was extremely proud that I supported our candidate. His service to America and it's people is a record
that we can point to with pride. He promised to go back to Washington D.C. and work with our new President to find solutions
to economic problems that are threatening the foundation of our lives. It will take everyone working together to formulate
sound policy and legislation that will salvage the American dream for those of us that do not make our living on Wall Street.
Like Senator John McCain we should all pledge to work for a better America. God Bless John McCain.
Former Governor Jim Risch obliterated the competition and will become the next
United States Senator from Idaho. Christine and I are proud of our support for this exceptional couple and we are convinced
that they will serve all of Idaho's people in an exemplary manner. Jim Risch will use his skill, knowledge and experience
to the benefit of all Americans. We look forward to his vigorous support of solutions to challenges that face us here in Idaho
and across our country. Congratulations Vicki and Jim Risch.

Idaho lost a consistently Conservative voice in the United States Congress when Bill
Sali was narrowly defeated in his reelection bid. We wish Bill and Terry the very best in all future endeavors. It is interesting
to look at the numbers in the 19 counties and see where so many votes went for Republicans on the ballot but then dropped
in this particular race. I look forward to the analysis that is certain to come in the next few weeks.
CORNEL RASOR WINS |
|
COMMISSIONER SEAT IN BONNER COUNTY |
Congratulations to Cornel Rasor who will join Lewis Rich and Joe Young as a Bonner
County Commissioner. Joe and Mary won their race convincingly which reflects broad support in the county. Cornel overcame
unfair comparisons, outright untruths, and campaign financing to pull out a win Tuesday night.
Eric Anderson's incumbency
carried him to his widest margin of victory over Steve Elgar in the past three elections. Senators Keough and Broadsword along
with House Rep George Eskridge all posted numbers showing that the majority of their constituency approves of their hard work
on behalf of the voters in their districts.
In the Sheriff's race, Wheeler posted the high numbers expected and is
to be congratulated on his organization and execution.
GET OUT THE VOTE! |
|
FIND FIVE VOTERS NOW |

GOTV! Get Out The Vote! It is vital that everyone supporting our Republican ticket quit sending cute emails,
wasting breath on what's wrong with our opponents, and use every remaining hour to get out the VOTE!
Accept the goal
of finding FIVE more votes. Identify a Mom and Dad, their parents, find out if their kids have turned 18, and make a promise
to go and get them to the polls on Tuesday! A utility bill and I.D. will get them registered on Tuesday.
The District
1 Congressional Race will be DECIDED by the voters in just NINETEEN 19 counties in Idaho. The five northern counties will
play a crucial role in Congressman Bill Sali's contest.
From the top of the ticket to the bottom, we MUST have literally
hundreds of Republicans that are willing to find FIVE VOTES each and personally get those folks to the polls on Tuesday.
No
one else will do it. It is up to YOU. Will you accept the responsibility? Please make a choice to support your ticket and
turn out the VOTE.
Idaho's 31st Governor Jim Risch is
leading in the polls and with our help will become the next United States Senator from the Gem State. Jim and Vicki Risch
have served Idaho for years and will take a fiscally conservative, socially responsible, view to Washington D.C. that is molded
with vigor and enthusiasm!
Please help get out the vote on November 4th for our Republican ticket and Risch for Senate.
United States Congressman Bill Sali has done an outstanding job for the people of Idaho and
he needs our help to send him back to Washington D.C. Bill is being outspent by big money , deep pocket, liberal Democrats
from out of state. While I still encourage you to contribute to his campaign; the most IMPORTANT action you can take in the
remaining days is to identify five voters and be PERSONALLY responsible for getting them to the polls and voting on November
4th! Please remind voters that Bill Sali is our District 1 Representative and that only voters in 19 of 44 counties in Idaho
may vote for this position. It is vital that we return this champion conservative back to the House of Representatives to
keep an eye on our money! Bill Sali is tough on wasteful spending and willing to make the hard fiscal choices that will get
us back on the road to economic health. Please work hard to get the vote out for the Republican ticket and U.S. Congressman
Bill Sali.

Wannabee Rex Rammell's cam-pain team (him)
put flyers on all the chairs at the 2008 Convention. Just when I thought he could not top his ridiculous Lincoln Day flyers
that pleaded for people to support him because he was age 48; he decided to create his latest masterpiece. Click the pic to

Here's my response to Rex Rammell's fantasy flyer: Rex, I
served in the military for 13 years. My Top Secret-SCI and Top Secret-SIOP ESI clearances were based upon truth and veracity.
I am willing to gulp down some sodium pentothal while they hook me up to a lie detector machine and repeat the actual conversation
we had while I deny (make fun of) your invented version.
